A glittering professional's career can conceal some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, who is the champion of the USA and World hurdle championships has achieved the status he has achieved after years working hard and a lot of perseverance. Born to a single mother in a family of five kids, Jones had a difficult and a squatter's childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and she even was a resident within the basement. Jones was in a mobile and nomadic lifestyle until the time she entered the high school system, was required the option of moving to a new school every year. Jones was kept apart from her parents at Theodore Roosevelt in order to compete in athletics in track and field. Jones stayed in four homes during her high school time to pursue her education at one location. Jones won her the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award during her time at school.
