A glittering professional's career can conceal some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, who is the champion of the USA and World hurdle championships has achieved the status he has achieved after years working hard and a lot of perseverance. Born to a single mother in a family of five kids, Jones had a difficult and a squatter's childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and she even was a resident within the basement. Jones was in a mobile and nomadic lifestyle until the time she entered the high school system, was required the option of moving to a new school every year. Jones was kept apart from her parents at Theodore Roosevelt in order to compete in athletics in track and field. Jones stayed in four homes during her high school time to pursue her education at one location. Jones won her the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award during her time at school. She also was a part of the school orchestra, as cellist. Jones began her athletic career in college as one the most talented hurdlers. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won the hurdles 100 meters. She also participated in the team that finished second in the 100-meters relay. In 2003 and 2004 Jones won the indoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship. Jones began her track career in the year 2005, when she completed her studies at the university. The same year she also won in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026 she took home the Ostrava Track event as well as Heusden.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South African. Her family moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was found by casting directors in her hometown and took the part of Naevia in the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was among the breakout stars for the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. Mazikeen played the Vertigo/DC comics popular Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer that ran for a total of six years. Lucifer has broken the record of binge viewing and was named the most binged show in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt's next performance will be in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley-Ann Brandt, a South African actress born in Cape town on 2nd of December, 1981. She is a talented New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated into Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. In Auckland she was employed as a salesperson, and then get promoted to IT managerial consultant. Lesley began her modeling career and then began to appear in commercials. She completed her degree in acting and continued her training in Meisner methods of studying. Her first acting job was in the New Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting actor on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Later she appeared in a sci-fi thriller called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia an innocent hostage in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was shown in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
