Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of shows. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant while filming season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
