In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone portrayed inmate 'Lorna Morello' In the film Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. Yael's early career has allowed her to interact with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the play had a huge achievement. Yael has co-founded The Cannery.
