Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. She was praised for her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra is involved in many important projects both locally as well as internationally. Among others, these projects include British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
